Connecting to the Nimbus Server
COnfiguring Your system
If you are connecting for the first time, you should receive an email containing instructions and two attached configuration files. Please contact us if you did not receive this email.
Download and install the Azure VPN Client. Press Ctrl+I and select the VPN profile which we sent you via email, titled Nimbus VPN Config.xml
Open Remote Desktop Connection and import the RDP profile we sent you via email - titled Nimbus RDP Config.rdp. You are now ready to connect.
COnnecting to the Sever
Step 1
Open the Azure VPN Client and click Connect. If prompted, input your user credentials.
Step 2
Open Remote Desktop Connection. Click Connect, and input your user credentials.
The VPN ensures your connection to the server is secure
Remote Desktop is used to connect to the sever, but the VPN must be connecting first.
Logging out
Open the start menu, click the grey and white icon of a person on the left, and click sign out.
